BLACK

The other day another black church burned down

A woman just looked, and ran

Afraid, riots to come around.

Ku Klax Klan in  the    fifties

Riots in New Jersey in    the  sixties

Steel strike in    the   seventies

Angry rappers in   the    eighties.

L.A. riots in ninety-two

The message didn't get through.

Now whites are burning their churches

To get their kicks in ninety-six.

America what is going on,

Racism has  never gone.

The last two years it has been a phenomenon

To vandalize a church or throw in a firebomb.

The Aryan Faction have put a church house ablaze

In some,          other Southern place.

The Ku Klax Klan’s walking a march

The group of Skinheads for White Justice

Is becoming too large

Arson,     no one really knows

Arson,     priests find racist notes

Publicity is no cure at all

It only causes another arson call.

Ku Klax Klan in  the    fifties

Riots in (New) Jersey in    the  sixties

Steel strike in    the   seventies

Angry rappers in   the    eighties.

L.A. riots in ninety-two

The message didn't get through.

Now the whites are burning their churches

To get their kicks in ninety-six.

America what is going on,

Racism has  never gone.

Arson,     no one really knows

Arson,     priests find racist notes

Arson,     no one really knows

Arson,     priests find racist notes

Publicity is no cure at all

It only causes another arson call.
